On Point is located at the southern end of Walmer Road. Although it is just minutes’ walk from all the amenities of the Point Chevalier village, it has a lovely residential feel. The site is surrounded by grass berms, mature trees and mid-century homes, and gets all day sun.

Point Chevalier is one of Auckland’s most desirable neighbourhoods for good reason – it is part of a trendy block of suburbs including Westmere and Grey Lynn; it is surrounded by a green belt to the east including Western Springs Park, Jaggers Reserve and Meola Reef and by the harbour and Point Chevalier Beach to the west; it has easy access to the motorway and CBD; and it even has its own beach. It is a well-connected yet self-contained suburban haven for families and young professionals.

On Point is zoned for Point Chevalier Primary School and Western Springs College but is also close to Pasedena and St Francis Intermediate. It is walking distance to Unitec – New Zealand’s largest Institute of Technology -  and an easy bus ride to AUT and University of Auckland via the Outer Link or Great North Road bus. There is a shared path cycleway running into the CBD and Labour has even announced plans for a rail corridor from the CBD to Westgate.

On Point is the ideal entry into this great neighbourhooD

People are attracted to Point Chevalier because of the safe suburban streets, its unique charm and character, and the wealth of amenity and activities in the area. The Point Chevalier village has a library, supermarket and a number of delicious eateries including Daily Bread, Spilt Milk, Nomad and Fiesta Coffee Lounge. For anything else, St Lukes and Newmarket are only a short drive away.

Spilt Milk is a little gem hidden at the back of the arcade. It features a mix of Western and Vietnamese cuisine for breakfast and lunch (and anything in between). Their famous Beef Pho (noodle soup) is not to be missed.

Daily Bread is a new German-style bakery from the team that brought you Orphan's Kitchen. It is housed in the amazing heritage building formerly occupied by ASB and includes an outdoor dining area to the east.

Nomad is a popular Mediterranean bar and restaurant promoting the social joys of food, wine, music and community. It is a place for people of all backgrounds to meet and socialise.

Unitec - which has its Mt Albert campus just across the motorway from On Point - is New Zealand's largest Institute of Technology with more than 20,000 students studying over 150 employment-focused programmes.

Known affectionately as 'Springs', Western Springs College is a top co-educational secondary school renowned for its academic success, community engagement and progressive values.

Point Chevalier Beach is one of the best beaches on the Waitemata harbour. Featuring soft sand, safe swimming, trees for shade and a playground for the kids at Coyle Park, it is a favourite activity for locals.
